Guy left to pursue a solo career dont know why Marsh left I do know it wont be the same without them no one can replace Guy and Marsh they were one of a kind
It’s ok. The GVB as you know is changing. I changes constantly in fact. If you follow GVB at all, you would know this. Though Marshall & Guy will be missed. The new group – Bill, Wes, David, Mark & Michael are going to be incredible. Just wait, you’ll see… no worries!
Don’t forget the DVD’s. We can always see who we want when we want…
What do you mean Bill is breaking up the vocal band???? I just found them and can’t imagine not having them around!!!! I agree with most everyone here who has said David, Guy, Marshall, and Bill are the best GVB. Bill, we don’t know the details, but PLEASE don’t break it up. Because the Lord has so richly blessed you and your “little company” of friends there, the whole world has been blessed in so many ways. Please don’t break up!!!!!!!!!!! (and get Guy and Marshall back, please!!!!!!
No doubt about it,he will be missed,I just love this guy.We all would like to know why he left and so many assumptions are going around,but still no solid proof as to why.He sang with the GVB on the 12/02/09,so there’s definitely no hard feelings between them.I believe because so many love this guy,it’s hard for us to see him go and not knowing where.He’s no longer with the GVB,but at least I have my Gaither dvd’s,I can watch whenever I like.Marsh you are loved and you wil be missed.
I do not know if anyone else noticed this, but when Mark Lowry put out the new video, and the song was called “Satisfied”, with Bill Gaither, Mark Lowry, Wes Hampton, and Michael English, I wondered if Mark Lowry was trying to tell us something then, that something was about to change, with the Gaither Vocal Band, and I was right. Many of us, including me, will miss Guy Penrod and Marshall Hall. they are great singers! We may never truly know why they left the Gaither vocal Band. God bless.

Marshall has the perfect baritone voice! SERIOSLY!!! I love this guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully he returns later to the GVB.
